Hi, All--
I had been doing updates last night without incident when the httpd failed
to restart due to not having mod_auth_pam_external.so. I looked around and I
don't know where to obtain it, nor do I know what update might have been
responsible for its installation.
I searched for help on this and got the advice to comment-out the LoadModule
line for this module from httpd.conf. I did so on the public web server in
etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and it restarted. However, I did the same thing
for the adminserv copy at etc/admserv/conf/httpd.conf and it did not resolve
anything. Active Monitor sends the message, "The Server Desktop is not
running."
I can Telnet in, FTP in and it appears e-mail is working, but the admin
interface is not.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
