Yep, the user had a mail session open which broke. He has now tried logging
in again but the old session is still active.
You've got 2 choices:
1. Delete the pop lock file which mentions his username (look in
/var/spool/mail/ )
2. Leave it a while, can't remember how long, and the pop lock will expire
by itself.
