Tried that (holding down E as it boots).
No change. Like I said, the ROM kernel recognises the drive correctly, so I
don't see how it's a CMOS thing. It seems more likely a bug in 2.4.19. I
think the kernel always lists c/h/s on boot, although it must use LBA to
actually access the disk...
