All set with this one......
Jul 4 08:45:06 ns1 sendmail[14991]: NOQUEUE: localhost [127.0.0.1]
did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA
But the following log entries have me confused, anytime a customer
goes to send mail from various ISP accounts they get the same error
message from Outlook.
"Task 'theirdomain.com - Sending' reported error (0x8004210B) : 'The
operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP)
server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server
administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'"
And the mail log looks like this showing their attempts to send mail.
Jul 4 08:50:31 ns1 sendmail[15140]: NOQUEUE:
h000c9d41d4b0.ne.client2.attbi.com [65.96.XX.XXX] did not issue
MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA
Jul 4 08:46:57 ns1 sendmail[14954]: NOQUEUE: lyris.quiltropolis.com
[208.39.XXX.XXX] did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection
to MTA
Jul 4 08:28:29 ns1 sendmail[14015]: NOQUEUE: nat.globalmailer.com
[64.125.XXX.XX] did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to
MTA
Jul 4 08:59:12 ns1 sendmail[15691]: NOQUEUE:
ChristiDell.cpe.com21.leeds.al.charter.com [68.113.XX.XX] did not
issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA
Jul 4 08:58:47 ns1 sendmail[15667]: NOQUEUE: ip68-12-78-
34.ok.ok.cox.net [68.12.XX.XX] did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN
during connection to MTA
But if the customers use the web based email (neomail) that is on the
server they can send mail. So why is every customer that is trying to
send mail via an email program being blocked?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
