[cobalt-users] PostgreSQL server is down

Hi 

     We are working on cobalt raq3. Recently we are
running with a problem with the Postgresql. The
message is coming as ::

"The PostgreSQL server is down and cannot be
restarted"

We have started the postgresql and the deamon has been
started without any problem. Now when we are doing
like 

$meta-verify -si any tying to  *save all* , the error
message coming as ::

Can't call method "exec" on an undefined value at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005
/Cobalt/Meta.pm line 1479, <STDIN> chunk 2.

We checked the line - it seems that database is unable
to connect ...

Where can we check to solve this problme - any hints
should be highly appreciated...
