Here's another link to do the below:
here's is the syntax for adding additional ports. this was found on the
cobalt user lists:
for each ip address you want sendmail to listen to, you add a separate line
item. you can search for DaemonPortOptions in your sendmail.cf and make the
entries there. If you want to listen on all IP address, then just leave the
"Addr" entries out.
O DaemonPortOptions=Port=25, Addr=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, Name=MTA
O DaemonPortOptions=Port=25, Addr=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, Name=MTA
O DaemonPortOptions=Port=xxx, Addr=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, Name=MTA
O DaemonPortOptions=Port=xxx, Addr=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, Name=MTA

BTW, there was a post a few weeks back about using port forwarding to
get around that.
