Look at your log and see what they are requesting?  They may be running a 
program that checks to see if the site is up by downloading a file.  It may 
be a big file instead of a very small one.  They maybe checking every 
second instead of every hour, 10 minutes or what ever.

I have this happen quite often when I am uploading a number of files.  I 
also have it happen when I am downloading at times after I have been doing 
it for a while.  If I stop and reboot (I am running win2k) all works fine 
for a while.  (I don't like booting often)

Has this site added any funny rules, like a forward file?
