I had a similar problem. NO ONE could fix it. Although your problem sounds
far more complicated, mine turned out to be bad RAM. Unfortunately the
damage was done and a full restore was required.
Recommend you run raqbackup.sh AS SOON AS POSSIBLE with the latest (2.43)
CMU beta, and restore your machine overnight. After all the problems you've
experienced, it's probably long overdue anyway.
