Yes restart MailScanner don't touch sendmail now that you have installed
MailScanner.
MailScanner controls sendmail and the aliases will still get rebuilt. The
problem that you have now is that after any changes in the GUI you need to
do a manual MailScanner restart so that aliases etc get rebuilt
