  Thanks Vidar, but I use vi all the time, this is a newly restored
  RaQ3/RaQ4r, the OSRCD has all the patches, I was just trying to set
  up a crontab to run chkrootkit, logcheck and fcheck.

  I guess the patches on the cd may need to be reorganized, I think
  someone said that the vim patch must come after the glibc patch
