I am working on a quick restore backup system and frankly quite tired of
CMU's problems with either not restoring all the data or messing the
site numbers up. I am rsync'ing each night to a backup server. I have a
test server RaQ4r now that I am restoring to and all is working super, I
just load the latest OSRCD with all the updates and other packages,
rsync the data over and reboot, then bring in the PostgreSQL database
for the GUI.
The only thing I have on my list of 'wonder why that is', is now when
connecting using SSH it takes several minutes for prompt to appear, like
10 or 15 minutes. Does anyone know where I can look to see what may be
causing this after the restore of /etc, /home, /usr/local? The
connection speed was fine before the restore.
