I'd like to hear the reasoning behind that - they are a fan with a tiny motor - I'd like to know HOW they deteriorate... personally, I'm sceptical on that... I can't think how they would deteriorate. I'm perfectly willing to put the *BEST* fans I can for the money into my machines, but if "better" means 20% longer lifespan at 80% more cost, then I'd have to err on the side of the cheaper fan being replaced a few months earlier.
