Interesting, I had to go back 4 posts to actually find
where this had any relevancy. And then after reading what
Thom had to say, he was totally correct in the fact that the
poster could have simply noted they provide a solution - left
out the pricing - and asked for an offlist reply if interested.

Nice try, but if this is going to turn into stone-throwing
AGAIN (too much of this in the last 2 months vs. useful content
in my book), at least point to a valid entry.

Here Thom snips the massive lines of drivel. But yet
Dan's happy to point it out as a foul. I had to jump back a
post to find out the original poster used ELEVEN (11) lines
as a sig, a major violation of the pseduo-FAQ for this Group.

Where's the foul by Thom here? Sheesh.

Funny, I didn't see the part where the hand was out asking
for money to use that List... Or wait, maybe we'll go to Sun's
non-existent pages for alternate forms of help like the site
quoted here? Strangely, I can't even pull up the site today.
Maybe I have to pay to see it, thus it's commercial and in
violation.

And there was a point to this too?

There's been too much bashing and unflameworthy responses
like this around here the last few months. I personally had a
situation that took me 45 days to resolve, not a single bit of
direct help here other than a really nice post telling me to go
search the Archives. And, of course, when I did I find the 9
month old post that caused a good chunk of the problems to begin
with because it was then outdated.

Meanwhile, we enjoyed hundreds of posts howling about top-
posting and sig files instead of trying to solve problems and
shore information. My mistake, I thought that's what the List's
primary goal was, even if Sun's leaving everything in the dust
for us to pick up and salvage.

Maybe it's time to look into bullet-ridden MS OS servers
so I can spent 50% more time patching security flaws... That'
what they pay me the big bucks for, I suppose.

	Back to sanity time.
