RE: [cobalt-users] back to factory defaults tellnet command?

The OS restore CD ISO images can be downloaded from the SUN website.
You can then burn a CD from the image.

http://ftp.cobalt.sun.com/pub/iso/

These will restore your server to the factory fresh condition, however to
get your server up to fully ptached condition will involve downloading and
installing about 30 or 40 patches (say goodbye to a day of your time!).

You can create your own custom OS restore CD, but if you only have one
server then again it is not really time effective, but at least you can
reinstall it once you have created it.

You can install the RAQ4 OS on your RAQ3, which I would suggest.

Hope this helps.

Paul.
