Hi all,
In one of my smaller sites I seen to have an excessive amount of logs;
74k ftp.cache 76k ftp.stats 1.3M mail.log 6.1M web.cache 604k
web.log 1.4M web.stats
282k ftp.log 332k mail.cache 199k mail.stats 6.1M web.cache.new 356k
web.log.1.gz
Is it OK to simply delete the web.stats / web.cache and web.cache.new which
are 13.60Mb without breaking anything?
The site is only a 25Mb one, though it does get some traffic and the
customer does not need to retain the logs.
This is on a Raq4i and is running webalizer, the customer is not fussed
about historical log data.
A quick command to delete them would be appreciated, I don't do that often!
Regards,
Phil Beynon
