To All,
Well, since Bruce was kind enough to take IPCHAINS and turn into a PKG file
(thanks Bruce). This I feel would go very well with it. Well, almost
anyways. It is a nice little web application that can be used to build
IPCHAINS. It is very simple to use, and easy to customize. It will scan
your Server (netstat), and take whatever is listening, and display it to
you. Afterwards, you can go through and turn on what you would like to have
you in policy. After you feel you are good, you click on "Generate Rules"
and it gives you the syntax needed to build your firewall.
This application is totally free. If you a beginning web developer, you may
just want to use it to take some decent Java scripts, and see ways (not) to
process forms! :-) It isn't that bad. ONLY PROBLEM is that if you do run
it, you need to change the directory to allow "HTTPD" to write to it. This
is not my problem, just the way that PHP interacts with Apache.

Eventually I may get around to wrapping it around Bruce's PKG, but in the
mean time, here is a solution if you do NOT want to turn IPCHAINS.
Thanks, and have a great day!
