A quick Google search finds mention of using PPTP

"PPTP adds some overhead to your network traffic, which means slower
access time, but when ISPs start blocking normal TCP/IP traffic you're
left with no choice. Just cross your fingers and hope that your ISP
doesn't block the PPTP port to stop some other kind of service abuse
such as business customers paying only for personal accounts."

But, from my perspective, this is really your client's problem, not
yours. You are not blocking them. In order to use your SMTP service they
must reach you on Port 25. That is the industry standard. If their ISP
is blocking that port they need to get a new ISP or pay for a
professional level of service from their ISP that doesn't include the
block. Alternatives for you may be difficult. I'm not sure if you can
make SMTP listen on another port at the same time or if it requires
running a second instance of Sendmail.
