RE: [cobalt-users] Cannot Create Users or email Alias's all of the Sudden on a RAQ550

Gerald,

Ok, I did it a couple of times and rebooted the server.

Now, when I edit /etc/mail/virtusertable it is empty.

I ran: hash /etc/mail/virtusertable.db < /etc/mail/virtusertable

And I received no error's.. BUT,, when I try to add users or Alias's it
still gives me the "Unknown Error During Create"

Man, this is SUUUPER frustrating ;-(

Matt

Wow! you do have a problem.
When yod id '70 dd'
Did the file look clean?
You did edit /etc/mail/virtusertable and not /etc/mail/virtusertable.db? I
suggest you run through several cycles of edit/makemap and see if it will
clear up.

You might also have a screwed-up makemap binary???
Does anything else on the server look bad!
