[cobalt-users] Perl with Qube 2

We have a subweb, /Congress,  on our Qube 2 and a registration page in this 
subweb  uses Perl script. We have uploaded the script, FormMail.pl into a 
folder, cgi, on /home/groups/home/Congress. Permissions have then been 
changed to 755, all following faithfully - we hope - the manual. 
Unfortunately, attempts to execute the perl script return an error msg, " 
The server encountered an internal error or a misconfiguration..."
Copying the cgi folder to the parent Web level doesn't help and searching 
the archives was fruitless.
Suggestions?
