If they are looking for Qube functionality, specifically UI controls for
file sharing, that doesn't exist for RaQ. If they are going to rebuild
it, or use it, just as a file server, there's no reason to keep the RaQ OS
on it IMO. Put the payload on it that will give you what you want, rather
than fighting with it... (not saying the Qube OS is perfect, but in this
case, I think it's a better choice)
