For a long time the list has been operating under the "gentleman's
agreement" concept.  As far as it NOT operating on a cobalt piece of
hardware, I'm thrilled, as the Cobalt implimentation of Majordomo is
punishment for system admin and list members alike.

Perhaps if folks understood what the messages look like when top posted,
or as you cited improperly bottom posted, they'd think twice before
posting(Ah Mom, I just bit my tongue for saying the obvious).

THe meta-faq has eveloved over time...and I'm sure it contains
errors of commission/ommission.  I'm always open to makein it better, so
feel free to email directly any suggestions.

Of course, as I've been told, I have no authority to post the Meta-Faq,
it isn't mine to change, just because I post it doesn't make me the
moderator.....(g)
