Yes, IMO, you're too thin skinned. The OP was pointing out that you
apparently overlooked something that he felt someone knowledgeable would
have caught. If you're not testing the .pkg on an active system or two
perhaps you should release them as beta for feedback first and indicate
the .pkg is untested and not just unsupported. There are several members
of the list I have seen that run test RaQs I'm sure would be happy to
beta them for you especially since they're free.

If you're not ready to take the heat, don't release them. Despite being
free, if it's buggy it will reflect on you and would factor into
anyone's decision as to whether or not to buy one of your paid .pkg's.
