Strange,

512 MB should be enough - We have tested on less...
We are using MailScanner 3.x and 4.x, own releases.
We are using sendmail patches from sun and our own...

Worked fine..
The only thing it could be I already mentioned, the package itself does not
shut off sendmail or whatever...

Plus, we have installed it on many boxes, all with sendmail of course, some
with MailScanner, v3 or v4...
They all worked fine...
