Don't know about Real (ugh, absolutely and utterly loathe it), but our XTR 
933 w/ 1.5gig ram handled around 600 simultaneous Quicktime Server streams 
(back in the version 3 days, slightly hacked server from cvs) no problems at 
all - probably could have handled more, no problems.
