Yes I did originally have the pkgmaster version of php installed. You just
jogged my memory that I ended up uninstalling both the sun/cobalt patch and
pkgmaster. I then reinstalled the sun/cobalt patch followed by the pkmaster
patch. I lost some functionality in a few sites without it (pkgmaster).
SideNote:
I followed the uninstall howto on pkgmaster.
