Subject: [cobalt-users] Can't connect to RaQ4 via null modem cable
We've configured hyperterm and the com 1 port settings to the way the
knowledge base recommends and hooked up the RaQ and PC via the null modem
cable. While the RaQ is stuck in it's booting... stage we try to login but
we just get a blinking cursor, no text or prompt is displayed like the
knowledge base describes. Does anyone have any recommendations for something
that we might have missed that could be causing the problem?
Thanks
Mike

Yeah,
Reboot it with the serial cable attached ... watch the entire boot process.
