Regular FTP sends the login/password in the open, afaik.
I use ws_ftp Pro in the SFTP/SSH mode cause I feel a need to
up and download stuff that belongs to root (Note: I take off
my appliance operator badge and hat when doing that).

Thom, will the newest versions of wsftp show file sizes in less than 1k sizes. I lost that ability with about version 7 or 7.5 and went back to an earlier version as I need to compare file sizes and most that I am looking at are under 1000 bytes.
