Brian , thanks very much for the quick response and offering your
assistance. I appreciate it greatly.
Well the server seems to claim that the admin httpd is doing fine...
yet the pages do not display...........
here is termianl window 2:
[root /root]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/admserv reload
Reloading admin web server: httpd.admsrv
[root /root]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/admserv restart
Stopping admin web server: httpd.admsrv ok
Starting admin web server: httpd.admsrv ok
[root /root]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/admserv stop
Stopping admin web server: httpd.admsrv ok
[root /root]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/admserv start
Starting admin web server: httpd.admsrv ok
[root /root]#
and the output of terminal window 1 showing results of the above:

Importance: High
I am in a bind here and need a clue as to what it might have busted, and
where to fix it.. and then I also need to know how to best go about
modifying the Cold Fusion 5 install in order to get it to work on the 550

Mike,
The fun begins ....
Bring up two terminal windows to your Cobalt RaQ 550.
In terminal #1
tail -f /var/log/admserv/adm_error
(Clear your screen)
In terminal #2
/etc/rc.d/init.d/admserv start
Then paste the contents of Terminal #1 to your reply, we go from there!
Thanks,
Brian
