Just a note, Shaun... life is a lot easier (and so is getting help) if
you use real domain names, real IP#s, etc. I can't think of one reason
why you wouldn't want to tell us which domain isn't working.

Check the following:

# ls -ald /home

# ls -ald /home/usr

# ls -ald /home/usr/local

# ls -ald /home/usr/local/majordomo

# ls -ald /home/usr/local/majordomo/<domain>

# ls -ald /home/usr/local/majordomo/<domain>/lists

# ls -ald /home/usr/local/majordomo/<domain>/lists/sales

Do any of these show a group writable directory? If so do a chmod on
the one(s) that do(es) so it's/they're no longer world-writable.

If none of them do... well then, perhaps the group writable link is
causing a problem... but it shouldn't be.
