Alright... looks like this used Raq2 I bought on ebay may have been not so
good a deal. And I know, I know... it's just a Raq2. But they can be
great little workhorses for static sites. WHEN they work.... So down to
the problem:
The thing was shipped to me complete with the former owners sites,
passwords, files.... and apparently had not been patched in eons. I was
attempting to run appropriate pkgs in proper order, and the WWW service
ended up bombing out. I could not uninstall the pkg's. So I did the reset
to factory defaults from the command line.
Now it's all fresh, as it would be a new Raq2. I've loaded it up with an IP
address, and it responds, I can telnet in, but it won't do any WWW at all.
Not even to complete the initial setup process.
I have an OSRCD. Have never been through the process, and would love to
avoid it. But if necessary, so be it.
Any ideas?
THX!
Chris
