I had exactly the same things but fixed it with meta-verify...

ftp://ftp-eng.cobalt.com/pub/users/duncan/meta-verify/meta-verify-raq3
 ... or ...
ftp://ftp-eng.cobalt.com/pub/users/duncan/meta-verify/meta-verify-raq4

I great little utility to have, download it and run,
./meta-verify-raq4 -u -a
./meta-verify-raq4 -u -i
./meta-verify-raq4 -s -a
./meta-verify-raq4 -s -i
