Line speed is a constant. The capacity of connection is what you
need to know. If you have severs online then your provider should be
providing you with regular reports of how much bandwidth you are using.
Using that information to determine your connection requirements would be
the proper way to proceed. If your provider is not providing you with that
information then perhaps your best option would be to install something
like mrtg so you can generate the information you need without your
provider's assistance.
