Re: [cobalt-users] Sendmail features

Sorry to poke my nose in here but I'm fresh at running an email server and beginning to add users. For spam, it looks like I can edit the /etc/mail/access as below to stop a lot of junk. I'm a bit confused if I should just do this or also install something like mailscanner/spam assassin. I suppose what these do is block new spam that is not yet in the access file? I have a raq4r and am considering these programs.

find the src and block it in /etc/mail/access - either the mail server they
are using or domains
u can do networks and the whole lot.

like:

215.124.22 REJECT
big@xxxxxxxx REJECT

for a list of know spammers have a look at bruces site
blocked.txt
