RE: [cobalt-users] formmail relaying spam

Thnx for this clarification. I've been lately dealing with spam being
relayed through my 550.

The nms versions are replacements for the poor scripts from Matt's Script's
Archives, especially his formmail.pl.

nms is at: http://nms-cgi.sourceforge.net/

I've deleted all formmail.pl from my vsites, and have checked
http://www.abuse.net/relay.html which says that relaying is denied...my  POP
Authenticated Relaying  is turned on, and have installed the most recent
sendmail patch from Sun.

Just trying to figure out how the spam is being relayed and plug that hole
up.

Any experience with Spam Filter from www.solarspeed.net? I think it's a
.pkg.

Manny did you read the advisory?
Its not FormMail.pl but rather PGPMail.pl. It is an adaptation of the
FormMail.pl script. My understanding is unless your running PGPMail.pl your
not affected. Unless of course your running a older unsecure version of
FormMail.pl. What is nms?
