Hello,
This follows on from a previous thread I started, "550 Host Unknown".
I have a new client for whom I will be setting up a website. The client
already has an ISP that does all thier email & web hosting. However, this
ISP does not offer PHP, which we will be using to develop the site, and thus
we will be using my RaQ4 server to host the website ONLY.
I already have a similar situation setup with another client, but when I try
to do this for my new customer, I have problems with sending email to the
customers domain. The DNS records for the customer I have setup sucessfully
are below: Am I missing some thing?
(Address A Record) domain.com -> 212.67.197.38 (My Primary IP
address)
(Address A Record) mail.domain.com -> xxx.xx.xxx.xxx (Existing ISP Mail
Server Address)
(Address A Record) www.domain.com -> 212.67.197.38 (My Primary IP
address)
(MX Record)domain.com mail is sent to high priority server
mail.domain.com
(MX Record) www.domain.com mail is sent to high priority server
mail.domain.com
Thanks,
Declan.
