This is weird and I'm not sure why it happens. The gist (not the
actual ip addresses or domains) is that I have 1.2.3.192-207 and he
has 1.2.3.64-127. I have a.org and he has b.org. I cant view
www.b.org, because the lookup times out. Basically we have the same
ISP and he has given us, as his custromers, a subnet to use. Nslookup
fails when I from the RaQ XTR home to a.org, try to get to lookup
b.org.
I haven't put anything into the system to indicate in whatever
networking options are available that this is not a /24 - 256 address
network but a /29 or should that be /28 --
anyhow I have 16 address and the mask is 255.255.255.240
The only place where I see anything besides the failure of nslooku
indicating that it is being treated as a /24 is in /etc/named/records
where I have all these lines with 24s after them. How did they get
there? Why wasn't i asked? Where can I set this?
