Well, it appears to be an issue with my router... Efficient Networks
5861.
Because I just SSH'ed into the box (don't know why I didn't try this
before bugging you guys) and ftp'ed to the localhost just fine using
'ls' and 'dir'.
Thanks though! :-)
PS..Well it appears as though I needed to turn on "Passive Mode" for the
client.

How about RAM
Look at top while you FTP in.
