Has anyone set a RAQ3 or 3i to use 32-bit disk I/O and DMA on with any
ill effects?
On some of my other RedHat linux machines I use a line in
/etc/rc.d/rc.local to set this at boot:
/sbin/hdparm -c3 -d1 /dev/hda
Any reason I wouldn't want to do this on the RAQ?
Thanks,
Dave
