which eth0:x is it. (ifconfig should tell you that)
rm /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:x
/etc/rc.d/init.d/inet stop; /etc/rc.d/init.d/inet start
The GUI might put it back in there, if it is actually in the GUI someplace.
But tis will allow you to test.
