Here's something that confuses me...

With the introduction of new letters in domain names, double hyphens will acquire a specific meaning in the encoding of domain-names. 
The .no registry, for instance, recently disallowed new registrations of domain names with double hyphens (although they did allow them 
before). I am not aware of the status of .com domains, though I can imagine -- is still possible to use.

I wonder what will happen to those tousands of domains with double hyphens when browsers, servers etc start to view them otherwise.
You ought to check it out now before some nasty surprise hits you later...

Kind of reminscent of the Y2K bug... Sooooooo predictable to happen, yet no-one bothered to take it into account from the beginning.
