You obviously haven't seen my cries of help of about a week ago. After
installing the kernel update patch that appears to have been pulled from
the site now, my RaQ550 (with 80GB HDD's)is in a constant loop of
synchronising, rebooted, synchronising, rebooting. No-one on the list
could help so I looked on the Sun Support Forum and found one or two
others with the same problem. I posted a support request to Sun and
yesterday a techie from the Netherlands looked at the box and stated
that they have a problem with that patch and the 80GB version of the
RaQ. He said he would get back to me but hasn't as yet. I'll check the
status of the support request soon and contact them again. I think he
was muttering something about the drive controllers.
I'll let you know the outcome.
