If you look at your original sendmail.cf file, it had two lines by
default:
# location of alias file
O AliasFile=/etc/mail/aliases
O AliasFile=/etc/mail/aliases.majordomo
You should also have the file /etc/mail/aliases.majordomo that exists.
It is only instructing sendmail to read another alias file. I have the
above running on my Raq 550 and no issues. Of course you want to make a
backup of your sendmail.cf before you do anything as a safe practice.
Restart sendmail and it should restart without any errors.
