It may be a setting in the Advanced tab under Tools and Internet
Options. Under Browsing: Enable folder view, etc. I also have "Use
Passive FTP" unchecked.
ftp://username:password@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/../../web works for me in
IE6.0.2800.1106
