Anyone done it without error? Presumably if it gets as far as bluelinq then it works on a vanilla/bluelinq-patched-only raq? It is a *very* stressful time for readers of this list waiting for reboot after that little click 'ok'.
It also seems like there are an awful lot of users that are making their own modifications to their appliance and then expecting the updates from Sun/Cobalt to work as intended.
Get real. Either use it as the appliance it is or buy a white box. Third choice, deal with Sun's slow updates and make your own knowing that future updates may screw things up or you may need to shut down services while you uninstall your own update, install Sun's late update and then reinstall your update again. Oh yes, there is a fourth choice, forget Sun exists and update your own machine and never use a Sun update again.
If you don't use the machine as Sun intended, don't bitch at them that YOUR update screwed up the machine when you install the next supplied Sun update.
