Can anyone tell me why Sun would release PHP 4.0.6 in their latest patch

Maybe a lot of us are not running 4.3! Who should they make the fix for?
They update (NOT upgrade) things based on what they have integrated into
their operating system and what they have tested. When you make changes on
your own, you then can't expect updates to work for you.
If you had used the upgrade from pkgmaster.com, they stated a one time, you
could removed it, do the update and then reinstall their upgrade. Can you
with what you did?
