i just had this very problem about 10 minutes ago.

http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=cobalt-users&m=104644676516355&w=2 fixed it
for me.
[i didn't have libpng.so.2.1.0.14 so i linked to to libpng.so.2.1.0.13]
