Hi All,
I've been following the discussions lately about a user with CPU
creeping up and Email and Web services crashing. I too have seen
this problem happening lately (three times in 8 days).
While I don't suspect it is hardware related, I found my CPU
temperature is going up. Last week after I was finished hard booting
the server, I noticed my CPU temperature was about 50 'ish. Today
after I had to hard boot it I find my CPU temperature is about the
mid 60 's. There's a chance that my cooling fan(s) are not working
properly.
I'm going to monitor the system closely and over the weekend when
traffic is lowest do a complete tear-down. I know that dust is not
an issue, my COLO seems to have the cleanest air environment I've
ever been in.
Not sure if this helps.
Paul

Retreat to advance. Sometimes the most important and urgent thing we
can do is get away to a peaceful and quiet place.
