Mirko,
I usually give the user shell access and then log into the account and just
type mail and quit out. This seems to fix the corrupted mail drop problem.
If it persists you make have to remove the user and readd them.

hi all
i have a problem with only one users email account....and when i try to get
my email using Outlook i get this message:
error type "(SYS/PERM) unable to process from lines (envelopes) in
/var/spool/mail/myusername
change recognition mode or check for corrupted mail drop
..so what is it ?? is the first time i have this
problem ...and i don't undestand why...
any help or suggestion welcome..thanks in advance..
