Yes, just some sort of snafu.

That's the only one, and if the MD5sum is ok, the image is ok.  Check 
your ROM level (cmos -c romrev). I've seen others have problems with 
RAID etc if the ROM level isn't high enough.  I run 2.3.38 on my own
