We are not running a DNS service locally. Ours is managed by our T1 provider
Worldcom UUNET. I didn't think orbs worked anymore or maybe it wasn't free!
OSIRUSOFT and SPAMCOP are free and don't seem to be too bad.
We have no entries in our SOA files for these.
To see if it is working ok or not keep a good eye on /var/log/maillog.
You will get entries in their for osirusoft, spamcop and /etc/mail/access
failures.
You can see good messages coming in and messages from spammers being blocked.
Apart from that - I can't help you with SOA stuff!
Cheers
Peter
